I’ll never skip a video or article showcasing what someone’s got in their bag.
Getting a peak into others’ minds in this way and learning what they deem essential and non-negotiable for a day out is surprisingly thrilling…It’s also superior for organizational inspiration when I’m packing my bags for a trip or an evening out. As I’ve gotten older, turning into the friend who always has everything is a role I’ve come to truly enjoy.
Bag #1
Need gum? A bandaid? A little snack?I’ve got you.
My daily essentials include a travel tin of Jacobsen flaky salt for rescuing an under-salted dish (this set makes a great holiday gift, by the way); Clinique’s Almost Lipstick in Black Honey, which is 1000% worth the hype: it’s so subtle and hydrating. I also always have some of this hand sanitizer that smells like fresh eucalyptus—it comes in the chicest packaging.
Bag #2
Next, I’ve got some sunglasses and their puffy carrying case. (I also have an Airtag attached to it, which I’d highly recommend for anyone who is also excellent at misplacing things.) Depending on how large my bag is, I love having a nail kit packed, a hand cream, my beloved Canon G7x, and the best silk scrunchies that maximize shine and minimize hair damage.
Bag #3
A satisfying pair with the Wims lemon basil pocket-tonic.
Last but not least, I’ve got this convenient little key ring, a travel-sized pen, and of course, a Wims Pocket Tonic or two packed in my wallet so I’ve always got a perfect pick-me-up at the ready. Finding convenient items at the intersection of practicality and beauty is a bit of a hobby of mine at this point, as I’m always refining my collection and looking to stay prepared and at ease.
We hope you find a little something to keep yourself streamlined, or a sweet stocking stuffer for a loved one this holiday season.
